Family owned and operated since it’s establishment, Telluride Music Company began as Sheridan Music in 1992. Originally opened by Neil Wilkie in a small space in the historic Liberty Bell building on South Spruce Street, it provided a selection of CD music, strings and accessories for the local music folks in Telluride. Shortly after the store opened, a small number of acoustic guitars were added to the inventory selection. In 1996, a great opportunity provided itself in the historic Sheridan Pool Hall building which is the location Telluride Music continues to operate today. Telluride Music Company is proud to offer one of the finest selections of quality new, used and vintage string instruments that can be found anywhere. Additionally they offer a good selection of instrument accessories, reference books, instruction material, and hard to find music CDs and DVDs. They also provide a music lesson program and fine stringed instrument repair services.
