Johnny Gerona was born in Switzerland and with a Spanish father and an Italian mother, his cooking has been influenced greatly by his European background and travels.  A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, he began his culinary career at a young age working in many fine dining restaurants including Arcadia restaurant in New York City.  After working in Spain, France, and Italy he relocated to Telluride, Colorado. With over 30 years of experience in the food industry, in May of 2013, Johnny opened his newest restaurant, The Village Table. The Village Table has wonderful salads and sandwiches for lunch, a full tapas menu and many delicious Mediterranean inspired entrees for dinner.  With a warm inviting atmosphere, friendly staff and a beautiful bar, there's sure to be something for everyone at The Village Table.
